Hive babysitters are intensely screened, background checked, and interviewed to ensure the best care for your little ones. Below are our requirements for our sitters:

• CPR

• Police Check

• 2 professional references from families and/or child care facilities they have worked for previously

• Interview that evaluates the sitters’ experience working with children including their ability to make responsible judgement calls in various situations they may encounter

The majority of our sitters are recruited from education programs including teachers’ colleges, early childhood education programs, etc. Who better to care for your kids than those who are dedicating their lives to enriching the lives of children?

Absolutely! You can set up a FaceTime call with your sitter or we can arrange an hour-long meet and greet.

Yes! We know how important consistency is for kids, and will provide that as much as possible. Let us know which sitter you love and we will make sure to send your future requests to them first.

Yes! We can help with event child care and even propose and organize activities/ crafts for the sitters to bring to the event! Email us for more information and to get a quote for your particular event!
